Luis Enrique says PSG have made progress since their defeat to Arsenal in October.

Luis Enrique says Paris Saint-Germain have become "a much better team" since their defeat to Arsenal in October, as the two sides prepare to meet in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
The French champions return to London on Tuesday after narrowly making it through to the European knockout stages, following a challenging group phase that saw defeats to Arsenal (2-0), Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich.

"It was about seven or eight months ago. I've rewatched the match, and we're definitely a much stronger team now," Luis Enrique said on Monday.

"We went through a highly intense league phase, with many games that felt like finals."

"It doesn't concern me," the Spanish coach remarked.

"The team spirit is outstanding."

"I’m the most disappointed person in the squad, so just imagine how the others feel," he continued.

PSG have reached the Champions League semifinals for the second consecutive year, after being eliminated by Borussia Dortmund at the same stage last season.

Since their takeover in 2011, the club's Qatari owners have made winning the trophy a top priority.

"This pressure doesn’t suffocate us; we’re driven by ambition," Luis Enrique stated.

"When we talk about making history, we mean achieving something no one has ever done before."

"Our goal is to take that extra step, having reached the same stage of the competition last year," he concluded.
